Birori (Bìroro in sardo) è un comune italiano di 488 abitanti (al 30-9-2022) della provincia di Nuoro che si trova a 450 metri sul livello del mare nella subregione del Marghine. Fa parte dell'Unione dei comuni del Marghine e del GAL Marghine.

ATTENZIONE:
dal 1861 al 1927 è stato un comune della provincia di Cagliari, nel 1927 è stata istituita la Provincia di Nuoro e Birori è diventato un comune della stessa fino al 1928 quando Birori è diventato frazione del Comune di Macomer (NU). Nel 1946 è ritornato ad essere comune indipendente della provincia di Nuoro.
